Bilingual Agent
The process was really long and tiring, they hire a lot of people but it takes too many hours. The experience wasn't bad because all the recruiters seemed cool, but in my case, I got a slow recruiter.
- Tell me about your work experience and what you did during that time.
Customer Service Representative
Friendly interview, they let you know from the start that the interview will be in English. I was interviewed by the recruiter and their supervisor. Everything was good, they give you a test as if you were already working there and send it to see if you get approved. If your performance is not very good, they'll assign you to sales campaigns like AT&T's.
- What is your full name?
- Why do you want to work here?
- How do you see yourself in 10 years?
Call Center Agent
The hiring process felt simple and quick. However, there are some issues during the training period. They mention you'll get 100% paid training, but it's only 2-3 weeks before you start taking calls. What bothered me was being moved to a different campaign after only a day and a half of training. Also, they pay bi-weekly, meaning you get paid two weeks after you've worked. Since I was switched to a new campaign and considering the two weeks spent on selection and training, my first paycheck won't be for a full two weeks and will be less than a full pay period due to their cutoff dates. This feels really bad and hard to manage, especially since I need the money right away while job searching.
- What do you seek in this employment, what is your work experience in a similar field, and can you state this in English to evaluate your conversational English proficiency?
Bilingual Call Center Agent
They ask you in English about your daily routine, your hobbies, where you learned English, and your favorite food. Then you simulate a call depending on the campaign you are applying for. For PayPal, it's simulating that you're collecting a payment and they don't want to pay, how would you address that refusal in English.
- In English, where did you learn English?
- In English, what do you enjoy doing?
- How do you approach your daily routine?
