PhD Student
The process lasts for 3 days. You'll meet with 6-8 professors, some you can pick and some from the selection committee. Each meeting is about 25 minutes long. There's also a dinner with current students and another dinner with faculty. On the second night, there's a house party with students. They're interviewing 50 students for 14-18 spots.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a PhD?

I received an email for the next step from the director of admission. Interviews were set up in December with two faculties. Then, in January, I got an email inviting me to visit the Emory University campus.
- What strengths do you bring to this program?
PhD Student
It was very busy but not stressful at all. The faculty are all very nice and if you are there, that means they probably want to take you on as a student.
