The interview process was pretty standard and nothing out of the ordinary. It consisted of four rounds: an initial chat with the recruiter, a session with the wider team/core members, and two meetings with the hiring manager. The whole process wrapped up in about six weeks.

The interview process had 4 steps: an initial phone interview (15-20 mins), a secondary video interview (45 mins), a panel interview (45 mins - 1 hr), and an interview with the Executive Director (30 mins). After the interviews, I had to do a writing assignment that took several hours over 3-4 days. I was told two weeks later that they hired an internal candidate who had a big advantage. The staff were nice and responsive, but it was disappointing to go through the whole process knowing there was an internal person with a significant edge, which felt like a waste of my time and effort.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had two initial one on one interviews. Then they scheduled me for 7 more interviews with 20+ people over a two week span. The interviews were extremely early in the morning (before business hours), and I had no say so in the scheduling. The dates and times were sent to me in a list. The interviews were extremely awkward. I found the interviewers to be ill-informed about the job. A long time later, I’ve heard nothing else from HR or the hiring manager. The whole experience soured me on the organization.
