First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Emmaus Homes, Inc..
Quality Manager
The hiring and interview process was very thorough, but it really worked well. It started with a phone call, then an email, and then I scheduled a 3-hour interview block. This block had 3 separate interviews within it. During these, I was asked questions about my background and abilities. After that, I started a 2-week training period. All in all, it was quite intense, which I see as a good thing.
- What was the hardest part of the process for you? For me, it was just talking about myself in general because bragging is sometimes difficult.
Senior DSP Engineer
It was a great, quick, and easy interview process with typical questions. There were a few basic situational questions, but nothing too deep. The whole thing was remote. I think I answered everything well. Communication via email was good. The interview itself was short, and they made a job offer right away.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- Share an instance where you experienced a failure and how you handled it.
- Describe a situation where you exceeded expectations.
Direct Support Professional
It was a remote interview with the head of HR and an admin assistant. I had to submit my resume and cover letter first. The interview was about 30 minutes long. They answered all my questions very thoroughly. They also explained the orientation and training process.
- Can you tell us about yourself and your previous work experience?
Residential Manager
The interview process was lengthy, but ultimately worth it. It showed the company was looking for more than just bodies to fill positions. I had an initial phone interview with an HR rep, followed by a 5-hour interview with 3 different panels.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strengths?
