Customer Service Manager
The hiring journey kicked off with a video interview comprising 5 questions. Basically, you record yourself answering these questions as best as you can. It's pretty fair because you get unlimited time to prep once a question pops up, and you can re-record as many times as needed. After submitting the video, if you move forward, you'll have an in-person interview. This part starts with shadowing someone in the customer support team for about 30 minutes, observing their work and how they handle calls. It’s a great way to understand the job expectations. Following the shadowing, I had an hour-long interview with the manager where we discussed my skills, experience, and leadership style, among other things. I felt I had ample opportunity to respond and present myself as a strong candidate.
- Can you share an example of a situation you managed that involved HR aspects, like a disciplinary issue or even a positive outcome?
Customer Service Representative
The interview had a great atmosphere. We did a tour and met people. The hiring process started with a phone chat with HR, who was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in me, unlike other calls where they just read from a script. Then, there was an in-person panel interview with two managers. I wish they had prepared their questions beforehand instead of reading from a packet and asking the same things. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend it.
- Are you currently taking fish oil supplements?
Warehouse Associate
The hiring process was casual and inviting, but ultimately incompetent. After no response to my application, I used the Customer Service Chat. HR then contacted me to schedule an in-person interview. While the interviewer was pleasant, they didn't follow up within the promised timeframe, suggesting an unprofessional atmosphere and standards. An MMPI-based assessment was also given, which implied HR's fear of repercussions for their unprofessional conduct.
- What led you to apply for this position with us?
Software Developer
A recruiter reached out about this role. First, I had to do a coding challenge. After that, I had to explain my project. I was kinda hesitant to interview because of their bad Glassdoor reviews, but I did it anyway. Looking back, I probably shouldn't have even bothered, they have those bad reviews for a reason. Seriously, stay away!
- Could you create a Galactic Directory of Star Wars characters using the SWAPI?
- Can you design and implement a web application using AngularJS (1.x) for the frontend and ASP.NET Core for the backend?
- Does it display a paginated list of people with brief details?
