First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Emergent Professional Resources.
Recruiter
The initial interview was an in-person meeting with one of the owners, lasting roughly an hour. Following that, there was a half-day session with the team to observe the day-to-day operations. This was followed by a team lunch with a few members.
- Can you tell me about your basic qualifications?
Recruiter
The interview process was pretty chill. First, you'll chat with the owner, and then they'll have you shadow the recruiting supervisor so you can get a feel for what the job entails.
- Tell me about a challenging experience in your life.
- How was your childhood and family environment?
Administrative Assistant
It was a quick process, only two rounds. First, a recruiter call to chat about my background. Then, a technical screen where they asked about my work and school experience.
- Could you share three of your best qualities?
- Can you discuss your past work experience?
- Can you discuss your school experience?
Recruiter
It was a 3 stage interview process. The first two stages were with managers, and the last stage was a half day with the team to see if I would like the job and the environment. We talked about my past work experience, what I do for fun, and where I want to go with my career. Since I hadn't recruited before, I didn't have many questions about the job itself.
- No technical questions were asked.
- The most difficult part was managing my nerves.
