First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EMC.
Software Engineer
The interview was online, lasted about half an hour. It included some basic programming questions and questions about my personal life. They also asked about my recent project and work history.
- What makes you want to work here?
Student Assistant
The process was quick and simple, totally online. The main part was the interview where I met the course coordinators. We talked about my motivation letter and what projects I was most interested in. I got an email back pretty fast after the interview.
- What prior research projects have you been involved in?
Systems Engineer
The interview was about an hour and I spoke with three people. They asked me technical questions and also about my people skills. I answered everything and they showed me around the work area.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Business Analyst
2 processes: 1st round and 2nd round of interview. It should be pretty easy. The first one is more of the behavioral questions while the second one dives deep into the technical questions.
- Could you answer some general consulting questions?
- How would you approach situational analysis?
