Frontend Engineer
Tuve 2 entrevistas.

Account Executive
My interview experience at Emburse was pretty disappointing because there was a lack of communication and professionalism. After the first interview, I was told the next step was an assessment test. But then weeks passed and the recruiter didn't communicate or give me an update. I followed up to see what was going on, but still got no clear info or timeline for the test. When I finally got the assessment, I didn't get any acknowledgment after I sent it back. The silence continued, and I ended up getting a generic rejection email. No feedback or personal note from HR was given, so I have no idea how I could have done better or why I wasn't chosen. This whole experience makes their recruitment process look bad and shows a lack of respect for candidates' time and effort. Getting updates on time and clear communication are super important for a good candidate experience, and they really missed the mark here. I hope they fix their recruitment process by setting clear timelines, giving updates regularly, and providing helpful feedback to candidates.

Manager
Had an initial phone screen with recruiter - went well. Then I had a zoom call with the hiring manager. I had to reach out to the recruiter to keep this moving along, but ultimately it was scheduled. I connected really well with the hiring manager and left the zoom even more excited about the opportunity. She mentioned on the zoom the next step would be to meet with a member of the team. After a week of not hearing anything, I reached out to the recruiter to check in. No response. I then reached directly out to the hiring manager who responded saying that was still the plan and she’d be back with me in a few days. Nothing. At this point I can only imagine they are not interested, and I am certainly no longer interested in the opportunity either. Very unprofessional ending to what started out promising.

Software Engineer
First I chatted with a recruiter for about 20 minutes after they reached out on LinkedIn. Then I had a one hour online technical test that had a mix of algorithm problems and multiple choice questions, it wasn't too difficult. After that, I had a two hour technical interview which was split into three 40 minute parts. The first part was about a past project I had worked on, the second was an algorithm question, and the third was a high level whiteboarding exercise about a new feature. They were really upfront about the whole process, and everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable.
- Can you describe a project you've worked on? It would be helpful if you could include an architecture diagram.
