Sales
The selection process was structured in multiple stages. After an initial introductory contact with HR, there was a more in-depth interview with the team manager to discuss skills and experience. Afterward, I was given a short task/case study to evaluate my approach, method, and ability to structure a proposal. Finally, I had a last interview with a more senior/managerial figure, focused on mutual alignment, work methods, and expectations, before a potential final offer.

Ground Instructor
There were four interviewers present. It began with HR-related questions, followed by technical questions. They sent an email detailing four main systems of the C172-s, and I was asked to teach about one of them, either pre-selected or chosen by me. Finally, for the cross-country portion, they randomly picked airports and wanted me to explain how I would construct a cross-country scenario.
- In four words, how would your friends describe you?
Flight Instructor
I applied online through Workday, submitting my resume and a cover letter. After that, I was called in for an in-person interview. This included a 15-minute presentation on an aviation topic and a sim evaluation where I had to demonstrate instrument and commercial pilot maneuvers.
- What approach would you take with a student who isn't the studious type and is having difficulty with flight training due to study challenges?
- If you're an ERAU student in the ILS program, what would be your answer to why you selected Embry-Riddle for your flight training?
Flight Dispatcher
You apply and then they call you to set up an in-person interview. You'll interview with the Ramp Operations and Dispatch Manager. They ask typical interview questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'Strengths and weaknesses,' and 'Tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult coworker and how you handled it.' If the Ramp Operations Manager thinks you might be a good fit, you then meet with some Flight Dispatchers. This part is more like a chat where you can ask about the job and learn more about the role and responsibilities. Afterwards, they either offer you the job right away or let you know later if they'll extend an offer. I was called three days after going home and offered the position. We then talked about my start date and the onboarding process.
- Describe a situation where you had to deal with a difficult coworker and explain how you managed it.
