Inside Sales
The interview process started off with the first round which was a phone interview. After the first phone interview we had a second round where we did a "simulated" sales call where I pitched them on some of Embarcadero's tools. Third round was with a VP who basically asked me if I had any questions and that was it. 4th and final round was one last phone call to see if there were any issues or other questions that I might have.
- Why are you interested in sales?
- Tell me about your past sales experience.
- How well do you know our technology?
Product Marketing Manager
It was a really fast hiring process. A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn with job details. The hiring manager did a quick Skype pre-screen on Tuesday and then set up an in-person interview for that Thursday, just two days later. The panel interview lasted about an hour and wasn't too tough. It felt like it finished kinda suddenly, but it went okay. I got an offer a week after.
- The recruiter gave me some prep questions that were helpful.
Sales Engineer
The interview process was quite thorough. I spoke with several sales representatives, and then with managers from different departments like renewals, credit, billing, product management, customer service, and even the CEO. Everyone I met was really nice and seemed genuinely excited about the company.
- Can you describe how you've worked collaboratively within the sales department and also with other teams?
Software Developer
First, had a quick chat with HR over the phone. Then, there was an onsite written test with basic C++ questions. Finally, I had a 2-on-1 interview with a senior developer and the software development manager. The questions weren't too hard if you know C++, MFC, and concurrency well.
- Can you list the different types of casts in C++?
