So, the interview process had two parts. First off, there was this general chat, mostly to get a feel for my background, what I've done, and generally how I tackle work. It was pretty chill and helped them understand my context for the role. Then, the second part was a more formal behavioural interview with a panel. They asked me specific questions about past situations, like how I dealt with stuff, examples of solving problems, managing people, and getting things delivered. My advice for anyone prepping is to keep your answers straightforward and structured. Back up what you say with actual examples from your work; it makes your points more solid and shows you know your stuff. Talking about how you tackled a problem, what you did, and what happened in the end really makes an impact.

Interview for a senior management role. The first round was a surprise call from HR. They mentioned the hiring team liked my resumé and wanted to interview me. The interview wasn't too revealing or tough. I followed up with the HR contact directly, and they did reply (great!) saying they'd get back to me soon. Still waiting for either a rejection or an update. This was for a pretty senior job, so it doesn't really impress me about the company.

The HR team was great, really made me feel part of the process with their team approach. But the hiring manager was a whole different story. They kept yawning, like over 10 times in 45 minutes while I was talking and sharing my thoughts. It felt super disrespectful and unprofessional for a first meeting. And the feedback? Really disappointing, especially coming from someone with less project management experience and certs. I'm glad I got feedback, but it didn't even match my experience or qualifications, and it didn't line up with their job description. Clearly, they just skimmed my CV, grabbed a few words, and used those for the feedback.
