Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elsevier.
Implementation Manager
I got a recruiter call and then an interview was scheduled with a manager. It got cancelled. The second time the manager didn't show up. The third time, they also didn't show up. I was really annoyed but I gave them a fourth chance because I really liked the job. The manager finally showed up for the interview, and it went okay. But after the interview, I never heard back from the company. Very disrespectful.
- Standard questions, including those about the required skills and how they align with my experience.
Innovation Manager
It was a bad candidate experience, interviewers didn't show up on time and ghosted me. I'm disappointed because a company with such a good reputation handled the process poorly.
