IT Specialist
I had an initial call with an HR company, then I moved on to an interview with the company itself. It was an online interview where they gave a quick overview of the company and asked some technical questions. The team seemed really nice and the atmosphere was super chill.
- Can you describe your knowledge of different SAP modules?
SCM Specialist
The entire interview process was well-organized and timely. I felt comfortable during the interview. The interviewers were professional, friendly, and respectful. They clearly communicated their expectations. The technical questions were relevant and of appropriate difficulty. I had enough time to ask my own questions about the company and role. Overall, a very positive interview experience. I look forward to potentially working with Erlingklinger.
- Why choose Erlingklinger?
Project Engineer
It was a normal interview. I applied for Project Engineer with Japanese knowledge. When I got there, I waited almost an hour for no reason, and later one of my interviewers came and said 'no excuse.' We talked for about an hour about my CV and how good my Japanese skills are and why I want this job, something like that! At the end, the interviewer told me how they did business with Japanese companies until now and sounded like they have an issue with the Japanese language. Although I have perfect Japanese skills, he told me that Japan is a 'men's society' in front of me. I already thought that he wasn't going to pick me because I am a woman. He also said I do not have any experience for this job. Yes, I know, but why did you invite me then? I tried to convince him why I applied for this job and how I am good at learning new things, but I guess we had a misunderstanding because my German wasn't perfect. In the end, I didn't get a positive answer, but I think it was a good experience to practice the interview for the next step! It was actually a very nice conversation, but at the beginning, it was unprofessional as I thought.
- How did you find out about us?
- Tell me about your background.
- How proficient are your Japanese and German language skills?
Internal Auditor
The interview process included an online chat with HR and the direct supervisor, lasting about 45 minutes. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We talked about my resume, asked 1-2 technical questions about the job, and discussed my commute or willingness to move. A negative point was the lack of info on employee onboarding, which I suspect is minimal because it was asked about frequently.
- Online conversation with HR and direct supervisor, lasting about 45 minutes, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
- Resume review.
- 1-2 technical questions about the position.
