I had a really strange interview. They didn't seem familiar with my CV and barely introduced the company or role. I didn't get to introduce myself, and they didn't explain the job responsibilities or expectations. Even though I have about 10 years of people management experience, they didn't explore my leadership style or past experience in detail. It was unclear how they were assessing me. The job posting was removed days before the interview, making me think the role might have already been filled. They did get back to me as promised, but the interview felt more like a check-the-box exercise than a real hiring discussion. Overall, it felt unprofessional.

I had a screening call with a recruiter who wasn't very knowledgeable about the company, even though basic info is on their site. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager, which was fine. After that, there was a 1 hour and 15 minute technical test based on a scenario. I never heard back after that, even when I followed up. It's pretty bad to treat candidates like this after they've passed the initial screening. At least send a rejection email. Seems like others have had the same experience.

It started with an HR screening, then a discussion with the Manager about my resume, experience, and career goals. Following that, there was a practical case study and a technical assessment on foundational crypto knowledge with the Analyst Team, which was a unique part of the process. The final round was with the Chief People Officer, focusing on behavior, values, and aspirations. Overall, the interview experience was great, with interactive and friendly sessions that made me feel comfortable. Given it's an entry-level role, the difficulty was between average and difficult.

I applied to Elliptic on June 30th and got an interview scheduled for August 6th. The call with the recruiter went pretty well, and I felt good about talking about my background. They mentioned they were hiring more broadly because finding the exact right person was tough. After the chat, I was told I'd hear back soon about the next steps, but I never did. A week went by, so I emailed for an update, no reply. I also tried reaching out on LinkedIn, but no response there either. About two months later, I got an email asking for feedback on my interview experience. My overall experience was pretty bad. The lack of communication and follow-up really shows a poor hiring process. It's a bummer not even to get a basic rejection email. This shows a lack of respect for candidates' time and effort and seems unprofessional.
