First, I had a phone interview where they asked me questions about my experience working with kids. Then, I was asked to do a group interview in person where they had us play a series of games as well as doing separate interviews of everyone.

It was a really easy and fun interview process. The last interview was practical, basically like doing the job itself. We all got along really well and became friends by the end.

Standard phone interview. Just so you know, they won't negotiate on the salary range of 40-42k for this role, which is basically unlivable in San Diego right now. Even with a year or more of experience in this exact field and with these specific duties, they're firm on their low pay offer. It's one of those typical companies that talks about doing good and creating social change, but then offers terrible wages to its employees. I can only guess how overworked and underpaid everyone on their team must feel.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation?
