First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elevate Energy.
Marketing Coordinator
The interview process was pretty good overall. It started with a preliminary phone call, followed by two in-person interviews. They initially planned for just one in-person, but then decided to bring me back to meet more people. The first in-person had four interviewers, and the second one had six, which was a bit much, but if you're ready and a good fit, it's not too tough because everyone's super friendly! Some HR stuff made it take a bit longer than ideal, but it wasn't a super long process.

Technical Project Manager
So I had three interviews in about a month and a half, and initially the communication was really good. They told me it would take about a week to decide after a few more interviews. But then after almost two weeks of no word, I emailed them to follow up. I had already sent thank you emails after each interview, you know, just to be professional. And then they ghosted me. It was super disappointing, not just 'cause I didn't get the job, but it felt really unprofessional since I knew I was one of the finalists after getting three interviews. I saw they reposted the job on LinkedIn and it got a lot of attention. It looked like they changed the search from just Michigan to all over the US. Then a few weeks later, they posted it again as hybrid with a slightly tweaked job description. Honestly, don't bother applying... it seems like they just keep reposting and changing the job description every few weeks. They clearly don't know what they want or how to hire someone.

Senior Associate
So there were two interviews. The first one was with a group of people, and the second was with an external consultant who would do a "match-making" to see if I was a good fit for the company and the manager. Scheduling was easy, and they were quick to reply.
- Considering this is your initial role in the energy sector, what draws you to Elevate?
Program Manager
It took a really long time to get any updates on this role, like over two months, and that was even after I tried reaching out to both the hiring manager and the recruiter. They did offer a call to give me feedback on my application, which was nice.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with different kinds of people?
