This hiring process was super long and tiring. It involved two phone calls, three technical interviews (two online, one in-person), and an HR chat, all stretched out over two months. The interviewers themselves were cool and the technical stuff made sense, but the organization was a mess. One interview time got completely missed because the recruiter forgot to tell me it was rescheduled. After all that, I waited two weeks past the final HR chat, expecting them to ask for references like they said they would. Instead, they told me they picked someone else. The reason they gave was weird: they said my tech skills were good but they were worried my current workplace vibe might clash with theirs. If that was the issue, why waste my time? They had my resume from the start, they knew where I worked. If they thought I wasn't a cultural fit, they should have just said so upfront instead of making me go through multiple interviews, including one where they didn't even show up. The whole thing felt unprofessional, thoughtless, and like they didn't respect my time.

The recruitment process for the QA position at Eleos Health was really positive. It was very organized, fair, and professional throughout. I had multiple technical interviews that were tough but also gave me a lot to think about. Every talk with the team felt respectful and had a point. The recruiter was super transparent and kept me motivated. It's not often you see such a considerate and people-focused hiring approach, even when you don't get the offer.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • There was a home assignment followed by an interview discussing it.
  • I was asked about basic QA process knowledge and had to solve "issues" presented by the interviewer.
  • They asked about my experience in leading projects, handling bugs, and my daily work as a QA.

My resume was forwarded to the company by a third party, and a few days later, I was contacted to begin the process. The process included a phone interview with the recruiter, a Zoom interview with the direct manager for the role, an interview with another senior HR function, and finally, an interview with the VP. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a match from their end in terms of the experience I bring to the needs they were looking for. However, all the interviewers were very kind and welcoming. The interviews were respectful and conducted on an equal footing, leaving me with a positive impression of the people, the office atmosphere and the culture. Even though the process didn’t move forward, I enjoyed the meetings and getting to know the different team members and the impression I received from my research about the company, its product, and the people there was highly positive. A product with significant value for the mental health field! The process took 5 weeks.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The interviews were conducted as open and friendly conversations, which naturally included professional questions about your experience.

I applied to Eleos through an employee referral and was really happy with how fast the Talent Acquisition Partner contacted me to set up a phone chat. She gave me a really good and complete rundown of the company and the job on the call, making it interesting and fun. The Talent Acquisition Partner was upfront about the good and bad things about the position, which I really liked. Even though we both decided I wasn't the best fit for this specific job, I still have a great feeling about the company from this experience. Thanks, Eleos, for a really professional and nice process! I hope I can check out other jobs with your team in the future!
