Had a quick 15-min chat with HR to kick things off. They asked the usual stuff about why I'm interested and if I have a driver's license. There was just one question touching on my technical background. Unfortunately, the role got pulled from the website after the interview, and we all got notified that they're not proceeding with hiring for this position.

The Elekta interview was pretty good and organized into two main parts. First, we had a general chat about my background, experience, and how I approach frontend development, with a big emphasis on UX and design thinking in development. It was a nice, informative chat, felt like we were bouncing ideas around about user experience and product thinking. Then, it got more technical, focusing on Angular, including Signals and current development practices. They followed this up with a technical test on Angular and Signals to check practical skills and problem-solving. The interviewers were cool and professional, and the whole thing felt well-thought-out. The discussions were engaging, letting me explain my experience and reasoning instead of just rapid-fire questions. Advice: be ready to talk UX and frontend dev, and hands-on Angular experience, especially with Signals, is a plus for the technical part.

They asked a lot of questions covering everything from creating psychological safety and working with different regions, to motivating teams that weren't doing well and making sure vendors were accountable. They also wanted to know how I handle tough personalities, make decisions when things are stressful, and stay humble while leading big changes globally. It all felt pretty natural because I focused on being authentic and true to my purpose.

Four interviews! Started with the hiring manager, who was nice. Then met with team members for the second and third interviews, which also went well. The last interview was with the VP. They were 10 minutes late, didn't apologize, and weren't friendly. They seemed to try and 'trick' me with questions and then just left me at the lift to find my own way out. I didn't get any feedback, just a LinkedIn message saying it didn't work out but wishing me luck.
