First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elegran Real Estate.
Technology Coordinator
The interview process was going well until after the 2nd interview. I was told that I'd get an update before Thanksgiving, and that came and went. When I followed up, I was told that they're running behind schedule and would follow up with me soon, that was 2 months ago. Safe to say I got ghosted.
- Can you discuss some of the projects you have been involved in?
Real Estate Sales Professional
A recruiter found Elegran for me and sent my resume over. Jared, the Sales Manager, then reached out to schedule the first phone interview. We chatted for about 25-30 minutes about my NYC work history, how well I know the city, and some of my past experiences. Since I'm from Texas, they really wanted to make sure I knew the city inside and out. Jared also went into detail about Elegran as a company and the team's work culture. After the phone call, I got an email saying they wanted me to come in for an in-person interview. We set it up, and a few days later I went to the office to talk with Jared and Jessica. We dug deeper into my background, my career transition goals, and what Elegran offers. About 45 minutes in, Michael, the owner, joined us. He asked about my NYC exposure from my event manager job, my family's real estate background in Texas, and explained how working at Elegran is different. I had been looking at a bunch of different real estate firms in the city to make sure I found the right one. After the in-person chat, I got an offer letter. I had a few questions, and Jared answered them right away. He even had me come back a couple days later to talk one-on-one with some agents. Soon after that, I accepted the offer to join Elegran!

Real Estate Salesperson
The interview process was very straightforward and professional. Elegran really lives up to its culture of cohesiveness and vibrancy. Visiting the office was a nice experience, very inviting and welcoming. I met with the people operations manager and the sales manager, and they were both super helpful and open. Communication was great throughout the process from everyone involved, and it was well coordinated. The questions focused on past experiences and career goals.

Real Estate Agent
The interview process was pretty straightforward and not too tough. I chatted with around 3 to 4 different people. Everyone I met was really friendly and asked questions designed to motivate me by exploring my past experiences and my reasons for getting into real estate. Specifically, I spoke with someone from HR, a sales manager, and another agent.
