The interview process was pretty straightforward. All of my interviewers were very approachable, easy to chat with, and it really felt more like a conversation rather than an interrogation, which is how most interviews seem.

Save yourself the trouble and don't even apply. They pretend to be interested, drag you through five interviews (even making you drive three hours to their outdated office), and then ghost you. It's a huge red flag, showing poor communication and disrespect for applicants' time, which likely reflects how working there would be. Luckily, I didn't accept an offer.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked generic questions. The staff didn't seem prepared.

It was a great experience! I first chatted with the Recruiting Manager, and then met with the VP of HR. It was really nice to hear about the company's culture and values. The interview felt more like a relaxed conversation, not just a Q&A session. I really liked their approach to interviewing.

Behavioral Presentation

I had a really bad experience with Electromed's hiring process earlier this year. After a few interviews, the hiring manager told me the job was mine and that I should get ready to move and tell my current job. Even though I usually don't do that before a formal offer, the hiring manager kept saying I was the one and the rest was just a formality. Because of this, I put in a lot of time and money. I spent days creating and perfecting a presentation, even taking vacation days and missing a family trip. I also did a 'tech check' with HR. After I gave the presentation, HR sent me a really positive email that night, saying an offer would come soon, just a small delay because of a company conference. That delay turned into over three weeks of no contact. I waited nervously for an update that never came. Finally, I got rejected, which didn't match what they'd told me before. They said it was 'one of the hardest decisions they'd made this year,' which felt fake after everything else. I felt misled, strung along, and like the process wasn't open or professional. My time, effort, and trust were disrespected. I'm happy I've since taken a job with a much better company that handled their hiring process the right way, but this experience really stuck with me. I wouldn't consider Electromed again or recommend them to others in medical sales.
