Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Electrolux.
Project Engineer
First remote interview, it was quite clear and informative. The second interview was in-person and included a very interesting tour of the production facility. The third interview was in English and felt less useful than the first two because it covered essentially the same topics.
- Tell me about your academic path.
- Describe the specific duties you handled in your past jobs.
- What do you do in your free time?
Engineer
It was simple and effective, conducted online. There were two stages: first, HR with basic and cliché questions. Second, with the manager, much more specific. There was a practical test of the software requested. Create a storytelling of experiences and also learnings.
- Tell me about your background, experience, education, and future plans.
- Tell me about your experience with the software.
- Share a story about your experiences and what you've learned.
Project Engineer
It started with HR, then two technical interviews. The HR part was about soft skills, and the technical interviews covered challenges project managers and engineers face, leading people, and time frame/scheduling.
- What challenges do Project Engineers encounter in project management?
- Can you describe the challenges faced by project managers and engineers?
- How do you go about leading people?
