First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Electric Insurance.
Document Review Attorney
The interview seemed to go fine, with interviews with three people at one time, and a fourth person came in after the other three to also interview me. They seemed so eager and friendly, but amazingly enough, despite a thank you email, and two follow-up emails, they discourteously have never let me know the outcome of my interview (which I can only assume now means they are not interested). I think it incredibly rude that after an interview, they do not feel it necessary to let you know the outcome (particularly if they are not interested apparently). Not impressed at all.
- What are your strategies for handling reviewing documents all day?
Claims Adjuster
I started with a phone interview, then I was called in to meet two different managers. I applied for claims but I ended up meeting with the claims manager and the sales manager. Both of them questioned me with situational type questions. The sales manager tried to persuade me to join the sales department, but my interest was in claims. I got a call the next day and they offered me the job.
- Can you share an instance where you had to make a very difficult decision and explain your reasoning?
IT Intern
The whole interview process took place in a single day. I had back-to-back meetings with two different interviewers, finishing within an hour. After an offer was extended, a background check was conducted. No unusual questions were asked during the interviews.
- Could you tell me about your most significant accomplishment to date?
Analyst
There were 3 rounds in the interview. The first round was a phone interview. The second round was an in-person interview with managers. The third round was with some executives. Everyone was easy to talk to and wanted me to do well.
- Can you explain the components involved in determining the premium for an auto or home insurance policy?
