Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter and then my next round was with the hiring manager the day after. It went really well, so they scheduled a virtual onsite interview with 4-5 different people for the week after. I didn't hear back for about a week after the onsite, but later found out the hiring manager was on vacation that week. Once I heard back, I was given a case study to present to a panel of 5 different members. My final round was with the VP of product, which I really enjoyed. It was a chance to not only promote myself, but a great opportunity to ask questions about the team and the leadership. Everyone I interviewed with were great individuals that gave me a good idea of what the work culture would be like.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The case study was a very hands-on question that is very related to the company's vision.

Technical Behavioral

I had a really great experience interviewing at Electric. Went through 4 rounds with them. Questions were a mix of technical know-how and behavioral (tell me about a time, how would you approach, etc). Interviewers either in Product/Design or Engineering. Everyone was super knowledgeable about the space, transparent about the challenges and opportunities, and seemed genuinely excited to answer questions and talk through their approach to solving problems. It'll definitely help if you brush up on some core principles of identity and device management prior to hopping on a call. I ended up accepting an offer at another company prior to finishing the process with Electric, but I walked away very impressed with the org + staff.

Case Technical Behavioral

I had a phone screen in February. The recruiter and company then forgot to respond. I re-engaged in May and went through the whole interview process: phone screen, case study, 5-6 interviews, and a meeting with the CTO. They even called my references, only to ghost me afterwards without any response. It felt like an info/idea grab, which is unethical.
