It's unfortunate I was burned twice. The first time, I got a call about an offer after meeting only two people (not including the direct report). I asked for more meetings, which they agreed to, but I ended up withdrawing due to my current role's needs. They then asked if I still wanted to have the meetings, and I said yes. But, nobody showed up, and I received a rejection letter. On the second attempt, I got back in touch and was excited to be considered again. I received a verbal offer, benefits info, and details on what was next (reference check, etc.). I was about to resign from my job, but I'm so glad I didn't because I was ghosted. I got a few notes about delays, and then they just stopped responding. I imagine many people would have assumed they had the job and resigned based on those conversations. I hope there's a reason I'm unaware of, but this is some of the worst treatment I've experienced. It's a shame because I really believe in the company's mission and was looking forward to the opportunity before the ghosting and mixed signals!

I applied and went through a screening, then got an invite to a manager screen. The interview had two interviewers who seemed inexperienced. They asked confusing questions that didn't let me show my skills. Their answers to my questions were brief and showed no interest. I was overqualified and got an automated rejection. It's basic courtesy to have a human reject someone after multiple interviews.

The interview process was quite straightforward and wrapped up in about two and a half weeks. I spoke with my potential direct manager first, followed by the SEO specialist, and finally the Marketing Manager. Everyone was really nice and provided helpful insights into the job. They didn't ask any tricky questions; it felt like they were genuinely interested in getting to know me.

It was easy but involved a lot of phone calls and what felt like conversations. There was a phone screen interview. Then came the first in-person interview. After that was a competency interview. Then there were second and third interviews. They invited me to a social gathering. Finally, there was a final interview. A background check followed.
