The whole interview process took about a month. I started with a phone screening with a director from a different department. After that, I had a second interview with a panel of directors from various departments. Finally, I was given a performance task to complete and then present to the hiring manager. It took two weeks after the last interview to hear back, and they decided to go with another candidate. The interview process was alright, but I wish it hadn't taken so long.

The interview process started with a 30-minute screen with the hiring manager. Following that, there was a panel interview, then a task, and it wrapped up with another interview with the hiring manager as the final round. I made it to the panel interview stage. During the panel interview, the panelists went over the allotted time. I let them know we were over time and suggested I could email any remaining questions I had since my schedule didn't permit me to stay on the call. I sent my follow-up email with my questions the same day. After twelve days, I received an email response from one of the panelists. That was the last I heard from them about my application for the position. I couldn't find anyone with this job title on the staff page, LinkedIn, or through a Google search. The job listing page is also no longer available. I'm guessing they stopped hiring for this role, but as mentioned, I didn't get any communication about the position or the process.

The interview panel was made up of 4 women, all from the same region and demographics. Given the company's stated emphasis on DEI, it would be better if the interview panel was more diverse. Four women from the same background, region, and age group do not reflect the equity mentioned in the mission statement.

- I would suggest dividing the interview panel into break out rooms so the candidate and interviewer can get to know each other.
- The interview panel can come across as "bullyish," particularly if all interviewers are close colleagues or have been with the company for a long time.
