First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at El Dorado Furniture.
Software Engineer
The interview was very brief and, in my opinion, didn't ask anything very relevant. It felt poorly planned and not very direct.
- What are your hobbies?
Manager
I submitted my application through their online portal and then had an initial phone call to set up a Zoom interview. My first meeting was via Zoom with the team, and then I was invited back for in-person interviews. Some people were in both interviews, but new faces showed up in the second round. The questions were different each time. The Zoom interview was more focused on technical and operational aspects, while the in-person meeting was more about getting to know me. After completing the usual onboarding steps, I started working there the following week.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Sales Associate
The interview process started with a telephone call with HR. After that, they send you to do an online screening test that includes basic math, dialogues, and scenario interpretation. The second interview was with the Store Leader and Store Manager. A few days after that, you get an offer if it's accepted. They are pretty specific and fast people, so expect a quick turn around.
- In regards to your career, where do you see yourself in the next year and also within the next 5 years?
- What have you sold in your past roles, and for how long have you been selling?
CEO
The interview process was easy, with hardly any questions. I got to meet and interact with the team and observe their collaborative working style.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
