First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EightPM.
Production Relationship Associate
Got an email soon after applying. Talked to someone in Austin for the LA job. It was pretty standard job questions, nothing too weird. They said I was moving to the next round, but then after 3 weeks, I got a standard rejection.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your thoughts on AI given its significant use here?
Production Integration Coordinator
My interview experience was really welcoming. I spoke with two leads, one based in Dallas, TX and the other in Los Angeles, CA. They both had incredible energy and made me feel comfortable with their friendly and easygoing demeanor. The process was clear and upfront; they knew exactly what they wanted in a candidate. My advice for anyone interviewing with EightPM is to be yourself, pay close attention to the questions, and answer authentically.
- Could you share the best compliment you've received in a professional setting?
Production Integration Coordinator
The interview process was easy and super straightforward! All the steps outlined in the job posting were followed as described. After submitting an application online, EightPM reached out with the steps of the second process, a self-taped interview, within a week. I then was informed that I moved onto the second phase, an interview over zoom. Scheduling the interview was simple, and everything was confirmed over email. The interview itself was welcoming and conversational! I spoke with department members based in Austin and Los Angeles, who were so nice, and engaged in the interview. I was definitely nervous going into the interview, but that quickly went away once we all started discussing the position.
- Are you more of an Introvert or an Extrovert?
- What do you anticipate being the biggest change moving from freelance to a traditional office environment?
- What's the best compliment you've ever received for your work?
Marketing Specialist
The interview process was disorganized and awkward. Some principals for the interview were not present. The interviewer was both disrespectful at times and falsely enthusiastic at times. It felt more like a stage for the interviewer to display their ego than a serious information exchange.
- Can you demonstrate your presentation skills?
- Please use the TV and the remote as props for your presentation.
