Technical Behavioral

My interview process started with an email and text invitation for a 15-minute AI-led screening. After scheduling, I got an email saying they were passing on my resume, but when I asked, they told me to take the interview anyway. The AI bot asked similar questions repeatedly and wasn't on camera, while I was required to be. After the interview, I got the same rejection message again. It felt more like a tech test than hiring, and I'm not sure the role was even open. It was confusing to schedule an AI screening, get rejected, then be told to proceed. The repeated questions and one-sided camera requirement made for a poor candidate experience.

Coding Technical Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with an AI proctored coding round. Then, there were two assignments where I had to build an agentic AI. After submitting the assignments, I got a call from HR to schedule a techno-managerial round. This round had two 30-minute segments with two interviewers. The first interviewer asked a DSA graph question and I had to explain my approach. The second interviewer asked about my internship and projects. This was the last round and I did not get any further calls.

The interview had 3 rounds in total: 2 technical and 1 HR. Round 1 was a technical round that was mainly about competitive programming. It had 2 questions, starting with an easy DSA problem (Finding Next Greater Element) and then a greedy problem. This round was pretty easy and most people passed. Round 2 was also technical. It started with a quick chat about my resume, where I had to explain a project and answer some follow-ups. Then, there was a DSA problem that required a deep dive and focused a lot on optimizing time and space complexity, and also detailing program states and reducing redundancy. Many folks were given a design problem, like designing a Snake and Ladder board or a Chess game, where the expectation was to describe classes, functions, and state transitions, not write code. Round 3 was the HR round, which was mostly a formality and not a place where people usually get rejected, but be aware some companies do reject in HR rounds.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • For a design problem, such as designing the board for Snake and Ladder or a Chess Game, describe the classes, functions, and state transitions involved.

Coding Technical

I went through two interview rounds that felt okay, but the feedback wasn't great. I finished the coding task in about 45-50 minutes and even asked if it could be improved, but the interviewer didn't offer any suggestions. Later, the feedback mentioned it didn't meet accessibility standards. The second interviewer never gave any feedback, even after a week, and the recruiter didn't follow up with the results or feedback. After checking Glassdoor, which had negative reviews, and noticing the interviewers had limited experience (3-4 years), I was already doubting the opportunity. Looking back, it was a mistake to continue, as it was a standard hiring process, not tailored to a specific team. Nobody seemed truly interested in my skills or what I could contribute, making it feel like a waste of two hours.
