So the process here is like, we start with looking at your application, then a quick phone call, then you come in to meet us, we do some tests to see what you know, and then we check references. After all that, we let you know if we're gonna hire you. It's all pretty great, and honestly, the hr is beautiful, hehe. Lots of cool stuff at this company.
- The interview process includes application screening, initial phone interviews, in-person meetings, skills assessments, and reference checks, leading to feedback and a hiring decision.
Engineer
Came into the office for a 3+ hour interview, but they didn't follow up. This company was bought by a private equity firm and their systems are outdated, using 20-year-old software. I interviewed with 4 people, from executives to the team I would be working with. They answered my questions but kept probing my technical abilities even after I explained my knowledge and skill set.
- Can you describe your technical abilities?
Wellbeing Coordinator
I was contacted via LinkedIn and decided to go for it. First, there was a 20-minute phone consultation where they decided I was a good fit. Then, I went to Manhattan for a 3-hour interview where I met with 6 people for 30 minutes each. They all seemed nice and the interviews went well. I got an email saying I made it to the next round, which was a 30-minute mock presentation for a fake company about our services. But before agreeing, I asked where I'd be stationed if hired. The recruiter said probably NJ, but maybe CT or NY. Since I wasn't willing to make that commute, I declined the presentation and the position. I politely thanked them and heard nothing back.
- Could you explain the distinction between wellness and wellbeing?
Client Success Assistant
The process was fine. I had a screening with HR for a few minutes, then an interview with the Director and Supervisor of the department about a week or two later. The interview was okay.
