So, I walk in, a little nervous, you know, the usual pre-interview jitters. But from the get-go, everyone's smiling, making eye contact, asking me how my morning was. It's not just polite, but genuinely welcoming. Like they're actually interested in getting to know me, not just ticking boxes. We start with the usual "tell me about yourself," and even though I've rehearsed it a million times in my head, I don't feel like I'm just reciting a script. They're listening, nodding, asking follow-up questions that show they're actually engaged.

The interview passes through three stages. First, they interviewed me about my skills, my ability to work in hard conditions and a hot workshop, and my willingness to relocate. Second, I interviewed with the manager who asked about relevant courses and my ability to provide good solutions quickly and work with a competitive team. Third, I had an interview with HR to check my stress management and how I'd work under pressure.

First there's an English test given by the American University in Cairo, then a computer test at the military institute. If you pass both, a committee of three lead engineers will interview you. They'll ask about your previous experience, or if you're a fresh grad, they'll ask about your final project and some basic stuff.

It's not that difficult, you just gotta be ready for it. They'll only ask a couple of aviation-related questions. After that, there's a course you gotta take for about three months, and you'll need to pass a test at the end.
