First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at eGrove Systems.
Software Engineer
For freshers, the first round was a hackathon with average-level aptitude questions. The second round was a personal interview where they asked about my projects and discussed the role and domain.
- Could you walk me through your projects?
- Tell me about your understanding of the role and the domain.
iOS Developer
I applied online for the iOS Lead position. There were a total of 4 rounds, and I made it to the final round. I received an offer and was planning to join, but they asked for my original documents and certificates. I found that a bit creepy regarding their organizational standards, so I decided not to join.
- What are the different types of threading concepts?
Python Developer
It started with an aptitude round, which had simple questions but you had to do it fast. The second round was a technical written round where they gave two programming questions in any language. I wrote the two codes and then waited for the interview. In the interview, they first checked basic knowledge (C, C++, NETWORKS, DATA STRUCTURE, DATABASE, PYTHON, etc). I got eliminated at this round. I don't know if they have a fourth HR round.
- Can you define what a class is?
- Could you explain the different sorting algorithms?
- Tell me more about the bubble sort algorithm.
Business Analyst
The interview process had 3 rounds. First was an aptitude test, the second was a simple technical round. The third round was a casual chat with the client where they did a basic introduction and I received an offer. However, I declined the offer due to a 2-year service level agreement mentioned in the job description, which I wasn't interested in.
- Can you define what a business analyst is?
