It was a pretty straightforward interview experience. The person interviewing me was good at making me feel comfortable, especially if I was feeling a bit nervous. She kept things relaxed, but the questions still pushed me to think. Mostly, it seemed to focus on my resume and my general personality.

I was contacted by a headhunter back in March 2019 and pretty quickly had a phone screen and then some in-person interviews. The interviews weren't anything special, mostly just about fit and culture and if I understood credit generally. Then I had another phone interview. After waiting two months with no feedback, I got a lowball verbal offer which I accepted verbally. The headhunter and HR were super slow and left me hanging for three months, then asked me to do a take-home assignment before they’d give me a formal offer. By then, I had better offers and I was just tired of being messed around. It seems like an okay company that's growing, but I don't get why the process was so messed up.
