First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EFI Global.
Mechanical Engineer
There were 3 interviews. The first was with HR, covering behavioral and situational questions. The second was a technical interview with the potential direct supervisor, focusing on situational questions. The final interview was with a regional manager or the supervisor's supervisor, where salary negotiations took place, and last-minute questions and requests were exchanged by both sides.
- What would you do if you and your supervisor disagreed on something?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process included a thorough technical interview with Service Line Principals and a non-technical review by the internal recruiter. They seem to know exactly what they're looking for and if someone is a good fit. Thankfully, I fit the mold – I'm someone who works hard, is motivated, and isn't afraid to put in the time and effort to be rewarded accordingly.
- Can you detail your educational background and focus?
- Could you elaborate on your previous relevant work experience?
- What can you tell me about your past projects that are relevant to this role?
Environmental Field Technician
The hiring process started with some initial questions sent via email, to which I replied quickly. However, it took over a month for the hiring specialist to actually schedule an interview. During the phone call, it was obvious they hadn't reviewed my resume, as they seemed surprised by information right at the beginning of it. They also mentioned I'd hear back about the next steps within a week, as I was a strong candidate, but it's now been three weeks. I'm really unhappy with how this all went down and the complete lack of respect for my time.
- Can you tell me about your experience handling data and samples?
Forensic Structural Engineer
EFI Global reached out within a week of me sending my resume and cover letter. First, I had a phone interview with the corporate recruiter. Then, I met my future supervisor for an in-person interview. After that, a background check was completed, which was fast. The whole process, from resume submission to job offer, was under three weeks, which is super quick for a big company.
- Can you discuss your career path?
- What are your current licenses and certifications?
- What would you say are your greatest strengths?
