Account Manager
Weirdest experience ever. I was interviewed by the hiring manager, went through 4 stages, and even met the team. The recruiter said they'd make an offer once the hiring manager returned from China. But upon their return, they chose someone else. I was shocked; never experienced anything so unprofessional! The office vibe was extremely off, cult-like, with an on-site gym suggesting an intense work environment. They require 4 days in the office with no flexibility, just the option to take time off.
- If you had to pretend to want to work in a cult, they'd hire you.
Account Manager
So the hiring process kicked off with a standard phone screen. Assuming that went well for both me and the recruiter, the next step was a zoom interview. I actually had two zoom interviews back-to-back, which was great because it saved time. After those, I met with the head of the department and a tour consultant who had been with the company for a few years. The whole thing took about a month.
- What role do you typically play on a team, in your own words?
Account Manager
I interviewed for a co-op position as a student from Northeastern. The interview experience was positive, with friendly and informative interactions. Although I initially applied for a different role, I was ultimately offered this Account Manager position. The hiring managers were very approachable and took the time to thoroughly explain the co-op program and outline my expected responsibilities.
- What sparked your interest in this particular role?
