The specific school handled the interview process directly, not edustaff. As an assistant coach, my interviews were with the head coach and then the athletic director. No one from edustaff was involved in interviewing me. The interviews covered my knowledge of the sport, my past experiences, and questions about my character.

The interview process is unlike any other I've seen. I didn't have a formal interview. There were qualifying questions and I had to watch an assessment video for each. You also need to submit official college transcripts and pay for fingerprinting and a background check.

First I had a phone interview, then an in person interview. Both were great, but the interviewer was very unprofessional. After a week of hearing nothing back, I sent a follow up email, got no answer, a week later I sent another one, then finally after 4 weeks of my in person interview they got back to me. I was not offered the position but I would have declined the offer if I was. I would not want to work for a company that is so unprofessional, unorganized and no sense of urgency.

We had a round table interview where they explained the job and the system for getting assignments. They also collected my documentation for the job. I got to choose the areas I wanted to teach. Then there was a PowerPoint presentation about the company, mission, and values. They gave me info to help with challenging classrooms and mentioned there's no penalty for picking up jobs. You can work full-time or part-time.
