UX/UI Designer
The interview process consisted of 2 rounds. The first round was a PM screening, and the second round was a whiteboard challenge. They seemed inexperienced with whiteboard challenges and appeared nervous conducting it. The panel was very quiet with long pauses between questions, and it seemed like their main focus was on the UI solution, which made me question the purpose of a whiteboard challenge. I would have declined the offer if it was extended, but fortunately, they relisted the position at a higher level for the same pay.

Assistant
I found out about this job through an online ad and applied. Someone from the company reached out via email to schedule a phone interview with the Chief of Staff, which was okay. After that, they emailed me again to set up an in-person interview. When I went in, I first met with the CEO, who asked good, relevant questions. Then I met with the HR coordinator, and they were professional too. Finally, I had my in-person meeting with the Chief of Staff, which was supposed to follow up on our earlier phone chat. Honestly, I was really taken aback by how rude and dismissive the Chief of Staff was about my background during the interview. To top it off, near the end, she actually said they were looking for someone younger for the job. I still can't get over that, especially since she's supposedly in charge of HR. It's shocking she doesn't seem aware of discrimination laws. I was speechless. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get the position, but I definitely don't want to work for a company that engages in age discrimination or treats anyone that way.

Software Developer
First, I was contacted by their HR person via LinkedIn, and we had a phone chat so I could get a better understanding of their needs. After that, I got a coding challenge to do at home that took around 4 hours. The task was to build a working app in my preferred stack, following some specific, slightly unusual requirements; it was moderately challenging. Once I submitted my code, they invited me for a block of six interviews with the dev team, which lasted about four hours. Finally, they called me back for another round of interviews, this time with the Chief of Staff and the CEO, which concluded the interview process.
- How do you handle situations where objectives and priorities shift often?
Marketing Communications Specialist
I had a phone interview, and it was very scripted as some people have mentioned. They seemed to be just going through the motions, and they had zero enthusiasm. Overall, they seemed unfriendly. A big red flag question they asked was, 'How do you take harsh criticism?' Definitely not going to pursue this further.
- How do you handle negative feedback?
