Supply Chain
first interview was a video call with HR, lasted about 30 minutes and asked some basic questions. Then, I had a face-to-face interview at the office with the hiring managers, which was about an hour long. I got an offer about one to two weeks after that.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What made you decide to apply for this position?
- What would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
HR Head
The first interview was with the regional HR, and shortly after, I was advanced to speak with the local MD. The second stage involved completing a case study, followed by a peer discussion. Overall, the process moved quite efficiently, even with the busy schedules of the MD and other leadership team members, making me feel valued and respected.
- Tell me about your experience in spearheading DE&I initiatives.
Brand Specialist
HR reached out to schedule a virtual chat with the hiring manager. The interview started on time. We mostly talked about my past work experience and how it would fit with the Brand Specialist role at Edrington. I answered some situational and personality questions. The interview felt relaxed, like they were more interested in my personality than asking tons of standard questions. The next two interviews were with exec managers. These ones went deeper into my experience, critical thinking skills, and what I could bring to the company. They also brought up potential challenges and asked for my initial thoughts and a theoretical solution. In between, I had a quick chat with HR about benefits and time off. They asked my salary expectations but didn't share their range. All interviews were polite and professional, no curveballs. The last three interviews were back-to-back over three days. It was a pleasant and genuine experience overall.
- How do you get your coworkers to respect you?
- How would you communicate the quality and passion that goes into our product to customers?
Data Systems Analyst
Had a quick 15-min chat with the recruiter first, covering my background and resume. It was hard to gauge how it was going since they kept interrupting me. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview at the office. I met with the team lead for the role, who was nice and asked general questions about it. Then, another team leader joined, who was very abrasive. If I didn't have a specific skill they wanted or couldn't answer directly, he'd raise his voice and get frustrated, often cutting me off. He also talked more about himself than the role. This part felt more technical, which might explain his attitude.
- Can you tell me about your preferred Excel function?
