It started with a screening interview, then a meeting with the manager which was mostly mini case studies and an awkward technical section. Then there was a technical review on SQL and python, which was weird because python wasn't a requirement and not on my resume. This was followed by a project and presentation to 10 people where many asked questions outside the project's scope. After that, there were group interviews. They wanted to speak one more time, but the whole process felt negative for the role and pay, so I withdrew. They're acting like a high-growth startup even though they're an unprofitable subsidiary of a slow-growth company.

I got a take-home assignment first. Then, when I came in for the in-person interview, I had to present it. After my presentation, they gave me another SQL/logic test at their office. It was tough but worth it in the end.

So the interview process started with an HR chat, then a Google Hangout technical interview. After that, I had to do a homework assignment/case study. The final stage was an onsite panel interview where we discussed the homework and my previous projects.
