First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edlio.
Product Manager
The interview process at Edlio felt unorganized and lacked actual management expertise. The interviewer seemed to lack experience in product management, raising concerns about the company's culture and management standards. There were also undertones of ageism, making the interview uncomfortable. Overall, it felt like a situation to avoid.
- Do you have any further questions for me?
Director of Sales and Marketing
It started with a phone call, then there were 3 interviews and 2 lunches. I felt I had a lot of insight into what was needed for growth. It's possible I came across as intimidating. There's a lot of potential here if the CEO makes the calls; he's the most experienced. I'd avoid this place unless you're prepared for 14-hour days, 7 days a week. It wasn't professional.
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Describe your approach to managing an underperforming sales team.
Marketing Specialist
It started with a recruiter call to check my background and give me a company overview. Then there was a 45-min interview with the direct reports to see if I was qualified and to tell me more about the role. They said there were two more steps if I passed this round, but I just got an automated rejection email with no feedback or personal touch. The process was okay, but it's unprofessional and old-fashioned to send a fake response after wasting over an hour of someone's time without any feedback or a personal note.
- Can you describe your past experience using CRM systems within a SaaS company?
QA Engineer
It was a quick call with HR first (<10 min). They asked about my motivation for switching jobs and my salary expectations. Then, I had a ~30 min technical interview with the CTO. I had to share my screen and answer some technical questions, and then explain my approach to finding bugs on a website.
- What are the Git commands for creating a repository, committing changes, and pushing them?
- Using a provided database example, what SQL commands would you employ to retrieve specific data?
- Describe your process for identifying bugs on a given website.
