I had two interviews. The first one was with HR where we discussed the usual topics covered in HR interviews. The second one was with a future colleague and the future manager. No practical tests were conducted, it was just a technical interview about my skills.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was handled unprofessionally, especially by the hiring manager. Besides the hiring manager, there were three other people present: an HR representative and two individuals the candidate would work with if hired. The experience with the latter two was that they paid no attention to what the candidate was saying when they weren't the direct speaker. This impression was confirmed by questions being repeated, like being asked my graduation grade three times. Fortunately, the interview revealed many red flags about the company and the interviewers, who were not at all open to answering the candidate's questions.

  • What was your university degree grade? Where did you find this job opening?
  • Technical questions about network protocols and cybersecurity.

Behavioral Other

It started with a screening call and a first introductory interview. I noticed some confusion between the manager and HR. They asked me to do a take-home assignment, which they never actually provided. They promised feedback but then ghosted me. It took 6 weeks to get a rejection, supposedly because they chose an internal candidate. Overall, there was a lack of transparency and respect. Probably due to management incompetence.

The interview process started online, followed by two in-person interviews with the Head of Department and HR. The whole process felt disorganized. I was initially called for one position and had two interviews. After a long wait, I was contacted for a third step. I had to guess if it was for the same role, and HR confirmed it was. However, at the interview, I found out it was actually for a different position, although in the same department. They didn't discuss salary until the third round, only to find out it was outside their budget. Overall, it felt like a waste of time.

  • Could you tell me about yourself?
  • Can you detail your work experiences?
  • Why are you looking to switch companies?
