First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edison International.
Advisor
I went through 4 interviews for this role. Some were with the hiring manager, and others were with a panel of employees. The process was quite slow and they even paused and restarted hiring a few times midway. There was also a long gap between interviews and the final decision.
- Can you share an instance where you had to finish a project despite significant uncertainty?
Teacher
The interview process felt more like a discussion, very calm and not as stressful as one might expect. I spoke with the principal and vice principal back in 2019.
- What makes you want to teach at Edison?
Software Engineer
The interview consisted of several behavioral questions. I was asked a total of 6 questions multiple times. There were no technical questions. It's important to use the STAR method for answering.
- Can you tell me about a time you improved a process, task, or procedure? What were the steps you took, what was your specific role, and how did you determine if the improvement was successful?
Senior Manager
This process took forever! It started in August and I wasn't hired until April of the next year. There were a lot of interviews, including a really weird panel interview, and then huge waits in between each stage.
- Can you tell me about your experience managing teams?
