First, there was an online MCQ test covering SQL, Java, and aptitude. After that, shortlisted students were invited to the Edifecs office for interviews. These included technical interviews focusing on OOPS, SQL, and Java questions, followed by hiring interviews. The hiring interviews involved general questions about family, yourself, and queries related to your resume, as well as the company's shifts and operations. Finally, there was an HR round.

There will be an Online Assessment (OA) followed by interview rounds, likely two. The OA will probably cover subject material like OS, CNS, OOPS, along with basic programming, computer stuff, and DSA. For the interviews, prepare C++ concepts, make sure OOPS is very clear, expect DSA questions, and they might ask about Linux and Python. Remember to thoroughly revise anything you claim to know or be an expert in. They might ask what you're good at, so if you say you know OOPS, you should know it really well. Be confident. All the best!

I applied through a consultancy, and the interview process was extremely unprofessional and lacked transparency. Although I applied for a remote position and was initially told it was fully remote, the subsequent rounds involved discussions about office work and reallocation. The process included two 1-hour technical rounds, after which I received feedback inconsistently. One time, I was told I was rejected, only to be contacted again later and informed I was selected. The HR round, which was supposed to discuss salary, lasted only 30 minutes and didn't cover that topic, with HR stating it would be addressed in the next round. A week later, I had a final round with a senior person for about an hour. During this round, we shared information about each other and the company. Then, technical questions and programming tasks were presented that were not even mentioned in the job description. At the end of this round, I was told salary would be discussed in the next stage. After another week passed without any feedback, and with the HR unresponsive to calls and messages, I found the entire experience to be very frustrating and mentally harassing.
