First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edible Arrangements.
Delivery Driver
It was a good and friendly chat, like a two-way street between me and the store manager. Took less than 40 mins. I gave them my resume and filled out an application for Edibles. They seem to want someone who fits well with their growing business.
- Could you be available to work on holidays?
Customer Service Representative
First I submitted the online application, then I had a phone call that led to an in-person interview. The manager was nice and made me feel comfortable during the interview. They seemed to be looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
- Tell me about your interpersonal skills.
- What are your thoughts on work ethic?
Digital Marketing Manager
The interview process was quite long and drawn out. The interviewers didn't really have many questions for me; it felt like they mostly just wanted to see what I looked like. It was a positive video experience, but I think seeing me in person ultimately swayed their judgment.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What programs and platforms have you utilized in your previous roles?
Marketing
Recruiter > CMO > President. They’re starting up a new team and was initially excited. Unfortunately, the whole process was handled poorly - I can see why their reviews are so abysmal. Initial and renegotiated offer was way too low. Inquired about the benefits and they’re really bad - no 401k match, 3 DAYS of maternity/paternity leave, and best case scenario is 10% max bonus for Senior Manager?? Asked to use the weekend to digest the package and I was obliged. Then Monday AM comes around and they rescind the offer. Their core product is surprising and wowing the customer. Mission accomplished. They don’t know what they’re doing and they clearly don’t value top talent. Make an informed decision - read up about their franchisee, employee and recruiting experiences. That plus their recent performance and you can decide for yourself if this is a place that excites you.
- Why do you want to work for Edible?
