I applied on the website and then did some online assessments. I didn't make it to the next round, but they were very clear with their instructions and communication. I'd say practice and prepare well to do your best.

Behavioral Technical

I applied for the 2018 UK Graduate Scheme in Mechanical Engineering with EDF Energy. The first steps were completing an online situational judgement test and then a numerical ability test. After passing, I had a strengths-based telephone interview with a recruiter. The recruiter mentioned that a strengths-based interview is different from a competency interview. I got rejected by email two days later. The next step was supposed to be an assessment centre. I felt the process wasn't well-structured. I thought they would give some job info and then ask me to introduce myself. The recruiter wasn't an EDF employee and jumped straight into questions, some of which didn't feel like typical strengths interview questions. It seemed like the recruiter hadn't reviewed my CV or application.
