Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EDF.
Stage Ingénieur
After applying through the EDF website, I was contacted for an interview. I had only one interview with HR and the manager responsible for my internship mission. I was asked standard introductory questions and to justify my added value. I also got to ask my questions about the position's tasks more in-depth.
- Tell us about yourself.
- What makes you a better candidate than others?
- Why do you stand out from other applicants?
Engineering Intern
We had a knowledge test where you had to perfectly recall a chart sent by email. Then, a group problem-solving task under recruiter supervision, assessing teamwork. Finally, a pretty basic interview.
- Could you give a brief overview of your experience?
Stage Ingénieur
It was a single interview where I spoke with the department director. I was given a presentation about the department, and I presented my background and aspirations. The conversation was pleasant. The interview lasted about 40 minutes, and it was the only step for this internship. It felt like a mix of getting to know me and a presentation of my work.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your ambitions?
- Can you describe your background?
