First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EcoVadis.
Sustainability Analyst
So there were like five steps in total, right? Like an initial interview, then a skills test, then another interview, then one at the local office, and then a final round. I got to the interview with the manager at the local office. The first three steps were pretty standard, and the people I talked to were cool. But the manager at the local branch seemed kinda judgmental, and after that, I never heard back. It would've been nice if they at least told me I didn't get the job.
- Based on what you've learned so far, what's your understanding of this role?
- Given that this is a foreign company with a diverse staff, many of whom have international experience, how do you feel about that?
- Considering there are other positions available, what led you to apply specifically for sustainability analysis?
Sustainability Analyst
So we had 3 rounds of interviews and then there was this one assessment. First up was the HR interview, where they asked basic questions and talked about the budget for the role. After that, I had an interview with the Team Lead, which covered my work experience and skills, and also included a short reading and answer test. The third round was with the Regional Lead, and it was more about my personality. Finally, there was an assessment where I had to answer questions based on a sustainability report they provided.
- Would you rather have a desk-bound or office-bound job, and why?
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Could you explain your reasons for leaving your previous employer?
Sustainability Intern
The interview for the Sustainability Intern position at EcoVadis was a refreshing experience. The interviewers were friendly and passionate about sustainability, creating a positive and engaging conversation. They took the time to understand my experiences and interests, making the interview feel more like a discussion about sustainability than a rigid question-and-answer session. Overall, the interview process left me with a strong impression of EcoVadis' positive and collaborative work environment.
- Tell me about a time your creativity or ability to learn a new skill helped you solve a problem or improve a process.
