So, I was referred by a former colleague. First, there was a phone call, then a Skype call about a week later, and finally, an in-person meeting that lasted half the day. They even took me out for a really nice lunch and arranged for a limo to pick me up from DFW airport and take me to the hotel. The staff seemed nice, and it looks like a company that's growing. They really, really focused on how many years of experience I had, and whether that experience was relevant to the job.

The interview process was thorough and informative, and I actually enjoyed it overall. The recruiters at ECOM really seem to get the whole work-life balance thing and seem genuinely invested in finding the right fit for people. They also asked me to go deep on customer-facing solutions, production support, testing, and the technical tools I use for data analysis. I felt pretty well-prepared because they gave me some tips beforehand, both on the interpersonal and technical sides, which really helped me feel more confident and ready for the interview.

First, I had an HR interview, which was quite friendly and covered very general topics. After that, there were supposed to be two technical interviews, but I didn't get the chance to do them. Then, we were going to discuss salary negotiations, but again, I didn't get to that part.
