Graduate Trainee
It's a two stage process. First, you take an assessment test and need to get at least 80% to pass. If you pass, they call you for an in-person interview at their head office. This interview is about 20 minutes long, where you'll introduce yourself, mention your age, qualifications, and cumulative GPA, and then answer some bank-related questions.
- How do financial institutions contribute to economic growth in Tanzania?
- What motivated your decision to pursue a career in the banking industry?
- Can you list the primary products that banks in Tanzania offer?
Graduate Trainee
The interview process involves 2 stages. First, there are examination interviews with 3 or 4 people. If you pass this, you then undergo medicals and a training school. After completing the training, you become a full staff member and will be posted to a different unit. Hopefully, it's a unit of your choice, but that's hard to get.
- Tell me about your personal skills.
- What knowledge do you have about the company?
- What is your understanding of the societal background?
Graduate Trainee
The interview process was pretty quick. You should be ready for standard interview questions, for example, 'Tell us about yourself'. They also ask situation-based questions, such as 'Tell us a time your boss was disappointed in you, how did you feel about it, what did you learn'.
- Can you tell us something about yourself?
- Describe a situation where your boss was disappointed in you.
- How did that situation make you feel?
