You'll go through 5 rounds. First a chat with HR, then technical rounds, then another HR round, and finally managerial rounds. There's also an aptitude test covering Java and Networking Layers.

- Are there any aptitude tests for Java?
Software Specialist
The interview process started with an HR round, followed by two technical rounds (technical 1 and technical 2), and then a manager round. The questions covered SQL, Linux commands, the OSI model, operating systems, SQL queries, and other fundamental concepts. The role also requires the ability to work US shifts since all clients are US-based.
- Can you tell me about your experience with SQL?
- What do you know about Cloud technologies?
- Do you have good verbal and written English skills?
Software Specialist
The recruitment process at my college for Software Specialist involved a technical support bond of 2 years and a salary of 2.5 LPA. They postponed the interview multiple times, making the whole process last 3-4 months. It started with a GD, followed by a written Q&A round which determined if you were placed in a technical or non-technical post, both with the same salary. Then came the technical interview on campus, where technical post students were shortlisted first, then non-technical. Even for the non-technical post, technical questions were asked. A shortlist was provided in a week, categorized into Technical, Non-technical, and Business posts (for those with average tech skills but good communication, this had a lower salary). For Technical and Non-technical posts, there were two telephonic interviews: one for technical skills and one for communication. For the Business post, the interview was earlier, but they also asked technical questions. They created a WhatsApp group for queries, but many shortlisted candidates for technical/non-technical didn't get a call and got no response from the company when they inquired. The next step was the final interview in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Business post candidates were interviewed earlier. They later announced technical and non-technical posts were the same. I traveled to Ahmedabad for the final interview. Upon arrival, I was given a number for documentation, but no one responded on the first day; someone finally picked up the next day and asked if I had a blank cheque to submit before joining. At the office, we were told about the terms: Rs. 15,000/month during training (3 PM to 12 AM), and after training, permanent shifts of 6 PM to 3 AM or 9 PM to 6 AM for 2 years. We waited about 2 hours at the cafeteria before a group interview asking about working night shifts and understanding the post. We then waited another 1.5 hours for a one-on-one interview about our major project and basic SQL queries. After waiting another hour, results were declared after about 4 hours, and I was eliminated. Given the poor management, I lost interest in joining.
- Topic for GD: Hollywood vs Bollywood.
- Written Q&A: Can you define IP address?
- Written Q&A: What is a MAC address?
