I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about a temp payroll position. It felt a bit overwhelming. I replied to the message and the recruiter immediately called me without asking if I was free to talk about the job. The whole process was annoying because some updates could have been an email instead of multiple calls a day to update me on each step.

It was fast. I think they really need the role to be filled. Recruitment was very accommodating. It ran for about one to two weeks, from the initial interview to the job offer.

Had a phone interview with HR and then a technical interview with the client, all via phone call. They wanted to know about my experience, my current and expected salary, and if I could work on-site and during the night shift.

So the interview started with a phone call, which was mostly about me. Then, it moved to a video meeting that was a mix of technical and HR questions. I was a bit confused about the process because they initially said there would be an initial, technical, and a final interview. But after the video interview, when I asked about the next steps, they mentioned it was actually the final round and they'd wait for other interviewers' feedback to decide who to hire. Because of this confusion, I decided to withdraw my application. The process was: Phone Call (about yourself) followed by Technical and HR Interview (technical IT terms, a bit about yourself).
